Principal attorney and one of the firm’s namesakes, Ariana Burris leads the Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning Department for the firm. Her zeal for the human condition driven by compassion and devotion to family—matched to a finely tuned legal mind—have forged a very unique, very special attorney. While she may wear her heart on her sleeve, her mind is always in the game.
With a comprehensive legal education (including graduating from both BYU with her Bachelor’s degree and Chapman University School of Law School with a JD) and broad legal experience (from service in the Orange County Public Defender’s office to handling appeals in the federal judicial system), Ariana focuses almost exclusively on wills, trusts and estates. She assists clients with estate planning; trust preparation, execution and funding; will preparation, documentation and execution; and prep and management of an array of simple-to-complex legal services associated with trusts, estate planning, probate and wills. She is also an active member with the Wealth Council, an association and think tank comprised of estate planning, trust and probate attorneys; financial planners and other professionals.

Ariana makes her home with her husband and daughter in Orange, in what she describes as, “…the ultimate home improvement project.” As an early graduate and pioneer at Chapman University’s School of Law, she remains active with the school’s Alumni Association (serving as Board member and Vice President for the past four years). Ariana is also a volunteer Board member and serves as Legal Counsel to TIAS ARMS, a charity advocating for children afflicted with HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
